Plain-language summary Our construction calculators run entirely in your browser. We do not require registration, collect your name or email, or sell personal data. Google AdSense displays ads on our site and may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing — details and opt-out options are in Section 5.
01

Overview

Welcome to CalcFormula (“we,” “our,” or “us”), available at calcformula.com. We provide free, browser-based construction calculators covering concrete, masonry, aggregates, drainage, slope, structural loads, and more — at no cost to you.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit our website, how it is used, and what choices you have. By using CalcFormula, you agree to the practices described here.

02

Information we collect

CalcFormula collects the following information automatically when you visit:

  • Browser type, version, and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring URL (search engine or site that brought you here)
  • Approximate geographic location (country/region, derived from IP address)
  • Device type — desktop, tablet, or mobile
  • Date and time of each page request

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any values you enter into our calculators. All calculator inputs stay local to your browser session and are never transmitted to our servers.

03

Log data

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data. This includes your IP address, browser user-agent string, pages requested, HTTP status codes, and timestamps. Log files are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes and are not shared with third parties except as required by law.

04

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser by websites you visit. CalcFormula uses cookies for analytics and advertising as described below.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our calculators in aggregate — which tools are most popular, time on page, and traffic sources. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _gid. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising cookies

We display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. See Section 5 for full details and opt-out options.

Managing cookies in your browser

Disabling cookies may affect ad relevance and some site features.

05

Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

CalcFormula uses Google AdSense, operated by Google LLC, to display advertisements. Ad revenue is what allows us to keep every calculator free.

Required disclosure Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to CalcFormula and/or other websites. Users may opt out of personalized advertising as described below.

How Google uses data

Google may use the DoubleClick cookie and similar technologies to serve personalized advertisements based on your interests and browsing history across the web. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.

Google’s data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
